Cala Jugadora
To recommend a single place on Cap de Creus is totally unfair. It offers so many spots and natural landscapes that it is very complicated to single out one. Nevertheless, one special place is Cala Jugadora, located under the lighthouse on the cape, surrounded by a rich patchwork of geology and botany. The cove has two pristine beaches, in between the rocks that shelter this wild place. Fishermen used to take refuge here when the sea was rough, since it is protected from the strong north wind, the Tramuntana, another leading player along the Costa Brava. The water is transparent and this spot gives a breath of nature at its best.
