S’Alguer – Palamós
Pure Mediterranean essence, S’Alguer is a cove located near Palamos, which has been declared a site of national interest. It is a fishing village that has kept its original aesthetics and appearance unchanged. This historical complex, with around ten small cottages facing the sea, is surrounded by woods, far from the hustle and bustle of the town. The best way to get there is to walk along the coastal path linking Platja de Castell to Palafrugell. This place bears true testimony to its fishing activity, from the big doors behind which the boats used to be kept to the ramps to pull them down to the sea.
