Fira d’Indians de Begur
The relationship between Cuba and the town of Begur goes back to the emigration to the island during the 19th century. On returning to the town, those who had prospered in their businesses (nicknamed “Indianos”) built ostentatious houses that still decorate its streets today. In the first weekend of September, Begur is transformed in order to relive that period.
